Sara Fanelli is another illustrator who has a very original style of children’s book illustration. She doesn’t conform to the way picture books tend to be presented, because of this her work really stands out from the crowd. I also like the way she layers textures and backgrounds in her illustrations. The image above is the cover design for her interpretation of Pinocchio.
