Andrew Pavitt

I first came across the work of Andrew Pavitt last year when he came into college to give a guest lecture. I really like his work; we share many of the same influences, like Lucienne Day, Charlie Harper and Scandinavian design. He is also influenced by Gillian Blease whose work I have been looking at since she also came in to give a guest lecture. I can see some similarities between Andrew Pavitt’s work and my own although his is much more sophisticated. His work is also much more graphical than my own as he uses flat colour in his designs and more structured compositions. His work can be found on www.andrewpavitt.com
