Rodchenko

Whist visiting Patrick Thomas he recommended that we go and see the Rodchenko exhibition- Construction of the Future. I became interested in all things Russian whilst working on my Russian fairytales project so I enjoyed going to see the exhibition. I hadn’t come across much of Rodchenko’s work before seeing the exhibition but I preferred his work to any other constructivist designers I have come across. I liked the variation of his work; he adapts constructivism well to all areas of design.
This is perhaps the most famous Rodchenko design, the text coming out of the mouth influence my Death of the Cock design shown earlier in the blog.
